We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Collection Head to manage and optimize our accounts receivable processes within the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in debt collection, credit control, and financial management, preferably within the Indian corporate environment. This role is crucial for maintaining healthy cash flow and mitigating financial risks for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce outstanding receivables and minimize bad debts.
- Oversee the daily operations of the collections team, providing guidance and performance management.
- Monitor customer payment patterns and proactively identify potential collection issues.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with overdue clients while ensuring company policies are followed.
- Collaborate with sales, legal, and finance departments to resolve complex collection cases.
- Generate regular reports on collection performance, aging analysis, and key performance indicators for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian laws and regulations pertaining to debt collection.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve collection processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
