We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Taxation Executive with 1-3 years of experience to join our Finance team in Thane. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations within India. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of direct and indirect taxation and be eager to contribute to the smooth functioning of our tax department.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9.
Support the calculation and deduction of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) on various payments and ensure timely deposit and filing of TDS returns.
Maintain accurate tax records and documentation, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Assist in responding to tax notices and queries from tax authorities.
Support in tax audits and assessments, providing necessary data and explanations.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the company.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for tax filings and compliance.
