We are seeking a dedicated Food Safety Officer to join our team in Chandigarh. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene across our catering operations within the Indian Railways network. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices relevant to a large-scale food service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of kitchens, food storage areas, and food preparation processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Develop and implement food safety management systems (FSMS) in line with FSSAI guidelines and internal policies.
• Monitor and evaluate food handling, storage, and transportation practices to prevent contamination and ensure product integrity.
• Investigate food safety incidents, customer complaints, and non-compliance issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide training to catering staff on food safety principles, hygiene practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, training, and incident reports.
• Stay updated on the latest food safety regulations, scientific advancements, and best practices.
