Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will possess an M.Tech degree and be passionate about optimizing manufacturing processes within the railway sector. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of railway components and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the manufacturing floor.
- Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flow charts.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Participate in the qualification and validation of new manufacturing equipment and technologies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related challenges.
