We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Consultant with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) degree and 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bhubaneshwar. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our sensitive patient data, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and implementing robust security measures across our hospital network. This role requires a unique blend of pharmaceutical knowledge and security expertise to address the specific challenges within the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of hospital IT systems and infrastructure, with a focus on pharmaceutical data management and patient records.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to healthcare data protection (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR principles as applicable in India).
• Assist in the design and implementation of security controls for electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy management systems.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant national and international healthcare data privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, and administrative teams to promote a strong security culture.
• Provide security awareness training to staff, particularly concerning the handling of sensitive patient and pharmaceutical information.
