Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Gas Engineer with 1-2 years of experience and an LLB degree to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with gas safety regulations, managing gas-related projects, and providing legal expertise on gas infrastructure matters within the industrial equipment and machinery sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of gas systems and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments related to gas usage and storage, ensuring compliance with Indian and international standards.
- Interpret and apply relevant legal statutes, regulations, and codes pertaining to industrial gas handling and safety.
- Assist in the development and review of contracts and agreements related to gas supply and equipment procurement, ensuring legal soundness.
- Investigate and resolve any legal or compliance issues arising from gas-related operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs and installations meet all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on safety compliance, incident investigations, and legal interpretations to management.
- Stay updated on changes in gas engineering technologies and relevant legal frameworks.
