Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Machine Shop Incharge / Supervisor with 2-3 years of experience to oversee our in-house machine shop operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production, maintain equipment, and uphold quality standards within a busy hospital environment. This role requires a candidate with an M.A. degree, demonstrating strong analytical and management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the machine shop, including scheduling, workflow management, and team coordination.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained in good working order, scheduling routine maintenance and prompt repairs.
- Monitor production output, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and deadlines.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods, placing orders as needed.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures within the machine shop.
- Train and mentor junior staff on machine operation, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their machining needs and provide timely support.
- Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and inventory.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Manage the budget for the machine shop, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
