You will be instrumental in designing and optimizing visual interfaces, user experiences, and ergonomic considerations for our automation solutions, ensuring user safety, efficiency, and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply M.Des principles to analyze and improve the visual aspects of industrial automation interfaces, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and ease of use.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights into how operators interact with automation systems, with a focus on visual perception.
- Develop design recommendations for control panels, displays, and augmented reality interfaces to minimize visual strain and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to integrate optometric best practices into the design lifecycle.
- Assess and address potential visual hazards in industrial environments related to automation equipment.
- Create prototypes and mockups of visual elements for user feedback and iterative design.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in UX/UI design, human factors, and optometry relevant to industrial applications.
