QC Microbiologist - Corporate (Guwahati) - 2-3 Yrs

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Microbiologist to join our corporate team in Guwahati. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and safety of our products and processes. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in microbiology quality control and a strong understanding of relevant laboratory techniques and regulatory standards. While a post-graduate degree is not a prerequisite, a solid foundation in microbiology and analytical skills is essential. You will be responsible for conducting routine testing, maintaining laboratory equipment, and contributing to quality assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including incubators, autoclaves, and microscopes.

Prepare media, reagents, and test solutions accurately.

Document all testing procedures, results, and observations in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and company SOPs.

Identify and investigate any out-of-specification (OOS) results and participate in root cause analysis.

Assist in validation activities and calibration of laboratory instruments.

Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment.

Stay updated with relevant industry regulations and best practices.
