Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Pharma degree and be adept at applying engineering principles to the design, analysis, and maintenance of broadcast infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, stability, and longevity of our transmission towers, studios, and other critical facilities within the dynamic TV/Radio industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for new broadcast towers, antenna mounts, and related infrastructure.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments of existing structures to identify potential issues and recommend remediation.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Indian building codes, standards (e.g., IS codes), and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain accurate structural documentation and reports.
- Utilize B.Pharma knowledge to understand material properties and their impact on structural integrity in various environmental conditions.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and proposals for structural projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve structural problems that may arise during construction or operation.
