Boom Operator - Ahmedabad

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Boom Operator with 1-3 years of experience to join our team in Ahmedabad. This role requires a unique blend of technical aptitude and a strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks, ideally demonstrated through an LLB degree. The Boom Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of boom equipment, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and company policies. Key Responsibilities:

* Operate boom machinery safely and efficiently according to project requirements and standard operating procedures.
* Conduct pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on boom equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
* Interpret load charts, engineering drawings, and site plans to execute lifting operations accurately.
* Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other personnel to ensure smooth and safe execution of tasks.
* Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including but not limited to, those pertaining to working at heights, lifting operations, and hazardous material handling.
* Maintain accurate logs and records of equipment usage, maintenance, and operational activities.
* Assist in the planning and preparation of lifting operations, considering factors such as weight, reach, and site conditions.
* Ensure all activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, leveraging understanding gained from an LLB background.
* Report any incidents, near misses, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities.
* Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to continuously enhance knowledge and skills.
