Buying / Merchandising Consultant (0-1 Yrs Experience)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buying / Merchandising Consultant with 0-1 years of experience to join our team in Chandigarh. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a B.Des degree who is passionate about retail strategy, product assortment, and visual merchandising. You will assist senior consultants in developing and implementing effective buying and merchandising strategies for our clients in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in market research and trend analysis to identify emerging product categories and consumer preferences.
Support the development of product assortment plans and category management strategies.
Collaborate with clients to understand their brand identity and merchandise them effectively.
Contribute to the creation of visual merchandising guidelines and store layout recommendations.
Analyze sales data and inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize markdowns.
Prepare reports and presentations on buying and merchandising performance.
Participate in client meetings and contribute to project deliverables.
Learn and apply best practices in retail buying and merchandising.
