Cashier (1-2 Yrs) at Shoppers Stop Ltd.

We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Cashier with 1-2 years of experience and a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree to join our dynamic retail team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, maintaining a secure cash drawer, and providing excellent customer service. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and positive checkout experience for our valued shoppers.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently and accurately process customer purchases using the Point of Sale (POS) system.

Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions with precision and integrity.

Maintain a balanced cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.

Assist customers with inquiries, returns, and exchanges in a friendly and professional manner.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and security.

Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked.

Provide basic product information and direct customers to appropriate staff when necessary.

Support inventory management tasks as assigned, such as cycle counts or stock checks.
