Copy Editor (2-4 Yrs Experience)

Role Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Copy Editor with a legal background (LLB) to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and proofreading a variety of content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines and legal standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong command over English grammar and syntax, and an understanding of corporate communication within the BPM industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and edit a wide range of documents including marketing materials, internal communications, website content, legal disclaimers, and policy documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.

Ensure all content is accurate, clear, concise, and consistent with company branding and voice.

Verify factual accuracy and legal compliance of content, especially in relation to service offerings and client agreements, leveraging your LLB knowledge.

Collaborate with content creators, legal teams, and marketing professionals to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality edited content.

Provide constructive feedback to writers to help improve their writing skills and ensure adherence to editorial standards.

Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines effectively.

Maintain a style guide and ensure its consistent application across all published materials.
