Cost Accountant - Import & Export (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and analytical Cost Accountant with 3-5 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing cost data, contributing to financial planning, and ensuring cost efficiency within our import and export operations. A Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree is required, demonstrating a strong foundation in analytical and data management principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Track and analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) for imported and exported products.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare regular cost reports, variance analysis, and profitability statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing cost-related insights.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize import/export costs.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory records.
- Implement cost-saving measures and monitor their effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
