Cost Accountant - Retail (Kochi) - 1-2 Yrs

We are seeking a motivated Cost Accountant with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic retail finance team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be a recent M.Com graduate eager to apply their accounting knowledge to understand and optimize cost structures within a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual cost accounting reports.
- Analyze variances between standard and actual costs and provide explanations.
- Support the development and maintenance of cost accounting systems and procedures.
- Participate in inventory valuation and reconciliation processes.
- Help in budgeting and forecasting cost-related activities.
- Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to gather cost data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
