Dean / Director - Courier / Logistics (Kolkata)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Dean / Director to lead our operations in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the logistics and supply chain sector, coupled with proven leadership abilities and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree. This role involves overseeing all aspects of our courier and logistics services, ensuring operational efficiency, strategic planning, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Kolkata region to achieve business objectives and growth targets in the courier and logistics domain.

- Oversee daily operations, including fleet management, warehouse operations, and last-mile delivery, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.

- Manage and mentor a team of operational staff, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Leverage analytical skills (backed by MCA education) to drive data-driven decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and identify areas for efficiency gains.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, technology, and customer service, to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

- Manage budgets, P&L responsibilities, and operational costs effectively.
