Derrickman (1-3 Yrs) at Reliance Retail

We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Derrickman with 1-3 years of experience to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of drilling and lifting equipment within our retail supply chain and warehousing facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on maintaining operational integrity and preventing workplace accidents. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup, operation, and dismantling of derricks and related lifting equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure all lifting operations are conducted in accordance with established safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all site safety and housekeeping standards.
- Participate in pre-job safety meetings and contribute to risk assessments.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment as required.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure efficient material handling and movement.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support other operational tasks as assigned by supervisors.
