Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Distribution System Designer with 1-3 years of experience, holding an MBA/PGDM, to optimize our supply chain and distribution networks in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing efficient distribution strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of our food products.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze current distribution network performance and identify areas for improvement.
Design and develop optimal distribution routes and logistics plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Procurement) to ensure alignment of distribution strategies.
Utilize data analytics and modeling tools to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels across the distribution chain.
Evaluate and recommend third-party logistics (3PL) providers and manage vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices in logistics and distribution.
Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives within the distribution system.
Prepare reports and presentations on distribution network performance and recommendations to senior management.
