Role Summary: We are seeking highly analytical and research-oriented professionals with a Doctorate/PhD to join our Due Diligence team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive assessments of potential partners, investments, and strategic initiatives within the dynamic FinTech and Payments landscape in India. You will leverage your advanced research capabilities and critical thinking skills to identify risks, opportunities, and ensure compliance, contributing to informed decision-making for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on target companies, individuals, and markets, focusing on financial, operational, legal, and reputational aspects.
Evaluate business models, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments relevant to the FinTech and Payments sector in India.
Identify and assess potential risks, including financial fraud, regulatory non-compliance, data security, and strategic vulnerabilities.
Prepare detailed due diligence reports, summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for senior management.
Collaborate with internal legal, compliance, finance, and business teams to gather information and ensure a holistic assessment.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the FinTech and Payments ecosystem in India.
Develop and refine due diligence methodologies and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
