Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Officer with 3-5 years of experience to join our Printing & Publishing division in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will hold a B.Com degree and possess a strong understanding of environmental regulations, compliance, and sustainable practices within the manufacturing sector, specifically focusing on printing operations. This role is crucial in ensuring our printing facilities adhere to all environmental laws and promote eco-friendly processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and permits related to printing operations.
- Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to minimize environmental impact.
- Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections of the printing facility to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Manage waste management programs, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring proper disposal and recycling.
- Oversee air and water pollution control measures and monitor emissions and effluents.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies and internal management.
- Track and manage environmental metrics, such as resource consumption (water, energy) and waste generation, identifying opportunities for reduction.
- Liaise with government environmental agencies, vendors, and other stakeholders on environmental matters.
- Educate and train employees on environmental best practices and compliance requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Manage environmental budgets and ensure cost-effective implementation of environmental initiatives.
