We are seeking a creative and technically adept Flight Engineer with a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) degree and 2-3 years of experience to join our innovative team in Ahmedabad. This role involves contributing to the design and development of specialized leather components for aerospace applications, focusing on aesthetics, ergonomics, and performance. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to translate design concepts into tangible, high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with aerospace engineers and product development teams to understand design requirements and constraints for leather components.
- Develop innovative design concepts for flight-critical leather parts, considering factors such as weight, durability, fire resistance, and user interaction.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D design visualizations, prototypes, and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Conduct material research and testing for specialized leathers and finishes suitable for aerospace environments.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure designs meet all technical and aesthetic specifications.
- Work with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless transition from design to production, optimizing for efficiency and quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and design technologies relevant to aerospace leather applications.
