Food Safety Officer (Guwahati)

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated Food Safety Officer with 1-2 years of experience to join our quality assurance team in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in food science and safety principles, with a Master of Science degree, and be passionate about ensuring the highest standards of food safety across our operations. This role involves implementing and monitoring food safety protocols, conducting inspections, and contributing to a culture of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee HACCP, GMP, and other food safety management systems.
- Conduct regular internal audits and inspections of production facilities, storage areas, and distribution channels to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
- Investigate food safety incidents, deviations, and customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs on food safety practices to relevant staff.
- Stay updated with the latest food safety regulations, scientific advancements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and supply chain, to ensure integrated food safety management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to food safety and quality assurance.
