Forklift Operator (3-5 Yrs Experience)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our Petrochemical division in Vijayawada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our facility. This role requires a keen understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety protocols. While the primary function is forklift operation, candidates with an M.Sc. degree are encouraged to apply, demonstrating a strong aptitude for analytical thinking and process adherence, which are valuable in our complex operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment within the plant premises.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.
• Inspect forklift equipment daily for defects and ensure proper maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper stacking and storage procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory levels.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as required.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Utilize knowledge gained from M.Sc. studies to contribute to process improvements and problem-solving related to material handling.
