Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Credit Risk Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to join our finance team in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will have a BBA/BBM degree and a foundational understanding of credit risk principles within the petrochemical and plastics industry. You will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of clients, managing credit exposure, and contributing to risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial statement analysis to assess the credit risk of new and existing corporate clients.
- Prepare credit appraisal reports and recommendations for management approval.
- Monitor client portfolios for early warning signs of financial distress and recommend proactive measures.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the development and implementation of credit scoring models and risk assessment tools.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand client needs and manage credit limits effectively.
- Track industry trends and macroeconomic factors impacting credit risk in the petrochemical and plastics sector.
