Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer with 1-2 years of experience and an M.Sc. degree to join our dynamic Animation & VFX team in Mangalore. This role will involve applying geotechnical principles to analyze and manage site conditions for our studio infrastructure, ensuring the stability and safety of our facilities. You will work closely with project managers and construction teams to provide essential geotechnical insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations, including soil testing and analysis, to assess ground conditions relevant to studio construction and expansion.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, including recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and earthworks.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to integrate geotechnical findings into project plans.
- Monitor construction activities related to earthworks and foundations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize geotechnical software for modeling and analysis.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in geotechnical engineering and their application in the Animation & VFX industry.
