Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Media Relations to manage and enhance Reliance Industries Limited's public image within the petrochemical, plastics, and rubber sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of media landscapes and excellent communication skills, particularly suited for individuals with an M.Tech background and 3-4 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive media relations strategies to promote RIL's initiatives and achievements in the petrochemical, plastics, and rubber industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers across India.
- Craft compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- Manage media inquiries, coordinate interviews, and act as a spokesperson when required.
- Monitor media coverage, analyze sentiment, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Proactively identify opportunities for positive media coverage and manage crisis communications effectively.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, corporate communications, and technical teams, to ensure consistent messaging.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments impacting the petrochemical and plastics sectors.
