Housekeeping Manager / Supervisor (3-5 Yrs) at GIA India

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager / Supervisor with a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to oversee and manage all aspects of housekeeping operations at our Coimbatore facility. This role requires a unique blend of aesthetic sensibility, organizational prowess, and a strong understanding of maintaining a pristine and professional environment, particularly crucial in the high-value gems and jewelry industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a passion for creating impeccable spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across all areas of the facility, including offices, laboratories, public spaces, and staff areas.
- Supervise and train a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient task allocation, performance monitoring, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement.
- Develop and execute cleaning schedules and procedures, including deep cleaning protocols and specialized cleaning for sensitive areas.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning and maintenance activities, minimizing disruption to operations.
- Implement and oversee waste management and recycling programs.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure that the aesthetic presentation of the facility aligns with a professional and high-quality brand image, leveraging M.Des understanding of space and form.
- Ensure all housekeeping activities are conducted in an environmentally responsible and safe manner, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Manage vendor relationships for specialized cleaning services or supplies as needed.
