Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hydrographic Surveying professional with 0-2 years of experience and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting underwater surveys, collecting and analyzing hydrographic data, and contributing to the planning and execution of marine infrastructure projects within our petrochemical operations. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior surveyors in planning and executing hydrographic surveys for port, harbor, and offshore facilities related to petrochemical operations.
- Operate and maintain hydrographic survey equipment, including sonar, GPS, and data acquisition systems.
- Collect, process, and analyze hydrographic data (e.g., bathymetry, side-scan sonar imagery, sub-bottom profiling).
- Utilize MCA knowledge for data management, database creation, and basic scripting for data processing and report generation.
- Prepare survey reports, charts, and maps using specialized software.
- Contribute to the interpretation of survey data to support engineering and construction activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during survey operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and geologists.
- Perform quality control checks on collected data and survey results.
