Internship Payroll & Transactions - Other (2-4 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with 2-4 years of experience for an Internship position in Payroll & Transactions - Other. The ideal candidate will have an MBA/PGDM in Finance or a related field and a strong understanding of payroll processes and financial transactions within a multinational corporation. This role will involve supporting various aspects of payroll processing and ensuring accuracy in financial data management for our operations in Coimbatore.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws and company policies.
* Accurately process various employee transactions, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and benefit adjustments.
* Reconcile payroll data with general ledger entries and investigate discrepancies.
* Prepare and submit statutory reports and filings related to payroll and employee taxes.
* Support in managing and resolving employee queries related to payroll and benefits.
* Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the payroll system.
* Participate in the review and improvement of payroll processes and internal controls.
* Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of salaries and other employee payments.
* Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
