IT Asset Management - Building Material Sector (0-2 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Asset Management professional with 0-2 years of experience to join our team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc degree and a foundational understanding of IT asset lifecycle management. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate records of our IT hardware and software assets, ensuring compliance, and supporting efficient IT operations within a large multinational corporation that indirectly impacts the building material sector through its extensive infrastructure and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in tracking and managing the inventory of all IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, peripherals) and software licenses throughout their lifecycle.
- Support the procurement process for new IT assets, ensuring adherence to company standards and budget.
- Maintain and update the IT Asset Management database with accurate information, including asset details, locations, users, and status.
- Participate in regular asset audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the deployment, reallocation, and disposal of IT assets in accordance with company policies.
- Help in managing software license compliance and optimizing license utilization.
- Generate basic reports on IT asset inventory, utilization, and lifecycle status.
- Collaborate with IT support teams to ensure seamless asset management integration with incident and change management processes.
- Learn and apply ITAM best practices and industry standards.
