IT & Information Security - Other (3-5 Yrs) | Hyderabad

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT & Information Security professional with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our information security posture, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical data and systems within the BPO environment. This role requires a strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices, coupled with a proactive approach to threat detection and mitigation. As a B.Tech/B.E. graduate, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our operations against evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), and endpoint security solutions.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate risks.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of information security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Respond to security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support user access management and privilege controls to ensure least privilege principles are followed.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate security considerations into project lifecycles.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to recommend and implement improvements.
- Participate in security awareness training programs for employees.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security operations and incident response capabilities.
