Junior Exploration and Production Director (1-3 Yrs)

We are seeking a motivated and legally astute Junior Exploration and Production Director to join our dynamic team in Vishakhapatnam. This role is ideal for an individual with 1-3 years of experience and a strong foundation in law (LLB) who is looking to contribute to the strategic direction of our exploration and production initiatives within the energy sector. You will support senior management in navigating regulatory landscapes, managing contractual obligations, and ensuring compliance with all legal and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the legal review and drafting of exploration and production contracts, joint venture agreements, and other relevant legal documents.

Provide legal support on regulatory compliance, environmental laws, and land acquisition processes related to E&P activities.

Conduct legal research and provide analysis on emerging legal trends and their potential impact on E&P operations.

Support dispute resolution and litigation efforts as required, liaising with internal and external legal counsel.

Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to ensure legal considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.

Monitor and advise on changes in relevant national and international energy laws and policies.
