Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Operations Manager - Upstream to join our team in Guwahati. This role is ideal for an M.Des graduate with 0-1 years of experience looking to kickstart their career in the dynamic food processing industry. You will support upstream operations, focusing on process improvement, quality control, and supply chain coordination within our manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of upstream operational activities, ensuring alignment with production schedules.
- Monitor and analyze key operational performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation of quality control measures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in line with Nestlé's global standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in process optimization projects, leveraging design thinking principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Contribute to inventory management and material flow within the upstream supply chain.
- Assist in maintaining accurate operational records and generating reports.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
