Junior Quantity Surveyor (Kochi)

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) degree and 2-4 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the creative or media industry. This role involves supporting the senior quantity surveying team in managing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and preparing accurate cost estimations for our animation and VFX projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BoQs), and tender documents.
- Support in monitoring project expenditures and identifying potential cost overruns.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities.
- Maintain accurate records of all project-related financial transactions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure cost control.
- Review invoices and payment applications from contractors and suppliers.
- Assist in value engineering exercises and provide cost-saving recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and market rates for materials and labor.
