KYC Analyst - Kolkata

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented KYC Analyst to join our team in Kolkata. This role is ideal for a recent M.Sc graduate with 1-2 years of experience in compliance, risk assessment, or a related field. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our company adheres to regulatory requirements by verifying customer identities and assessing potential risks. Your analytical skills will be vital in maintaining the integrity of our client onboarding processes and contributing to a secure business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on new and existing clients.

Verify customer identification documents and application information against established policies and regulatory guidelines.

Analyze customer data to identify and assess potential risks and suspicious activities.

Escalate complex or high-risk cases to senior management for further review and decision-making.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all KYC/AML activities and investigations.

Assist in the development and implementation of internal KYC/AML policies and procedures.

Stay updated with the latest regulatory changes and industry best practices related to KYC and AML.
