Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. This role is crucial for optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical understanding and a strong grasp of legal and compliance aspects relevant to the manufacturing sector, demonstrated through an LLB degree.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and optimize daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental laws, leveraging legal knowledge from LLB.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to address any production-related quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and methodologies.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring timely procurement and dispatch.
- Analyze production data, identify trends, and prepare reports for management.
- Liaise with legal and compliance departments on matters related to permits, licenses, and regulatory filings.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff and plant operators on manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
- Contribute to the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
