Marine / Maritime Pilot - 0-2 Yrs Experience

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marine / Maritime Pilot with 0-2 years of experience to join our team in Ludhiana. This role is ideal for recent graduates with an M.Des degree who are passionate about maritime operations and emerging technologies. You will be involved in assisting senior pilots in navigating vessels, ensuring safe and efficient passage through complex waterways, and contributing to the operational excellence of our maritime projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior pilots in the planning and execution of vessel movements within port limits and designated waterways.

Utilize navigation equipment and charts to ensure safe and accurate course plotting and execution.

Monitor environmental conditions, vessel traffic, and potential hazards, reporting any concerns to the supervising pilot.

Contribute to the development and refinement of pilotage plans, leveraging design thinking principles from your M.Des background.

Participate in post-shipment analysis and debriefings to identify areas for operational improvement.

Maintain an understanding of relevant maritime regulations, port procedures, and safety protocols.

Collaborate with ship's crew, port authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
