Medical Transcriptionist (3-5 Yrs Experience)

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathology, coupled with excellent listening and typing skills. This role requires a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree. You will be responsible for accurately transcribing dictated medical reports, ensuring clarity, completeness, and adherence to all quality standards. While our core business is in design and digital services, we sometimes require specialized transcription for internal documentation, training materials, or client-facing projects that involve healthcare-related content or require meticulous attention to detail similar to medical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately transcribe medical dictations from physicians and other healthcare professionals into written reports using specialized transcription software.

Review and edit transcribed documents for accuracy, completeness, grammar, punctuation, and proper medical terminology.

Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.

Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify any ambiguities or request further information when necessary.

Maintain productivity and quality standards within established turnaround times.

Stay updated with medical terminology, new procedures, and relevant healthcare guidelines.
