Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Placement / Alumni Officer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in Vishakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with educational institutions and our alumni network to facilitate successful placements and foster ongoing engagement. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between academic talent and industry needs within the building materials sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and postgraduate programs to understand their placement offerings and student profiles.
- Actively source and screen potential candidates from educational institutions and the alumni network for various roles within the company.
- Organize and coordinate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and other placement-related events.
- Manage the alumni database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date contact information.
- Plan and execute alumni engagement initiatives, such as networking events, workshops, and mentorship programs.
- Provide career counseling and guidance to students and recent graduates.
- Track and report on placement statistics, success rates, and alumni participation.
- Collaborate with HR and departmental heads to understand hiring needs and align placement strategies.
- Represent the company at educational fairs and industry-academia meetups.
- Ensure smooth onboarding process for newly placed candidates.
