Plumber - Ports & Shipping Sector (2-4 Yrs)

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumber with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems within our port and shipping facilities. While plumbing is the core function, a background in Commerce (M.Com) is required, suggesting a need for candidates who can also manage related administrative tasks, inventory, or cost tracking associated with plumbing operations and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitary fixtures.

Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues, leaks, and blockages.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing codes.

Perform regular inspections of plumbing systems to prevent future problems.

Maintain inventory of plumbing supplies and tools; assist with procurement processes.

Assist in managing records related to plumbing maintenance, repair costs, and material usage.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Collaborate with other maintenance teams and departments.
