Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement / Purchase Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our growing team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc degree and a strong understanding of procurement processes within the gems and jewelry industry. You will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing raw materials, components, and services essential for our operations, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and vet potential suppliers for raw materials (precious metals, gemstones), packaging, and operational supplies.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including RFQ/RFP issuance, negotiation, purchase order creation, and contract management.
- Ensure all procured items meet specified quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on spending, supplier performance, and market trends.
- Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
