Rig Supervisor - Food Processing (Thiruvananthapuram)

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Rig Supervisor with a strong understanding of legal frameworks and corporate governance to oversee and manage rigging operations within our food processing facilities in Thiruvananthapuram. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise in rigging and a solid foundation in legal matters to ensure compliance, safety, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct all rigging activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement rigging plans, considering load capacities, environmental factors, and equipment limitations.
- Conduct regular inspections of rigging equipment and ensure proper maintenance and certification.
- Train and mentor junior riggers and site personnel on safe rigging practices and procedures.
- Interpret and apply relevant legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to industrial operations and safety, particularly within the food processing sector.
- Liaise with legal and compliance teams to ensure all operations meet statutory obligations.
- Manage documentation related to rigging operations, including risk assessments, permits, and inspection reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to rigging operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of rigging processes and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and HSE, to achieve project objectives.
