RTG Crane Operator - Contract Role (2-3 Yrs)

We are seeking a diligent and organized RTG Crane Operator with 2-3 years of experience to join our team on a contract basis in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will possess a BBA/BBM degree and have a foundational understanding of inventory management and operational coordination within a manufacturing or logistics environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient movement and tracking of materials within our auto components facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate RTG (Rubber Tyred Gantry) cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and stack containers or heavy materials in the yard.

Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, operating procedures, and company policies.

Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on the crane to ensure its proper functioning.

Coordinate with yard supervisors and other personnel to manage the flow of materials and ensure timely loading/unloading.

Maintain accurate records of crane operations, material movements, and any incidents.

Assist in inventory management tasks, including verification and tracking of goods within the yard.

Respond promptly to operational challenges and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.

Support logistical operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse/yard.
