Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer in Test (SDET) with 1-3 years of experience and a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge technology solutions within the management consulting domain. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test frameworks and scripts using various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
- Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze test results, and report defects with clear, concise descriptions and reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test strategies.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and implement solutions to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on testability and code quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.
