We are seeking a talented Sports Biomechanist with 2-4 years of experience to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree and a passion for applying biomechanical principles to enhance human-centric design within architectural and interior design projects. This role involves analyzing human movement and interaction with designed spaces to optimize comfort, performance, and well-being. You will collaborate with architects and designers to integrate biomechanical insights into the design process, ensuring spaces are functional and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct biomechanical analyses of human movement, posture, and ergonomics within various interior and architectural environments.
- Utilize motion capture systems, force plates, and other biomechanical equipment to gather and interpret data.
- Develop and implement design recommendations based on biomechanical findings to improve user experience, safety, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with design teams to integrate biomechanical principles into space planning, furniture selection, and material choices.
- Research and stay updated on the latest advancements in sports biomechanics, ergonomics, and human-centered design.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate complex biomechanical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of design guidelines and standards that incorporate biomechanical considerations.
