Sports Biomechanist - Startup (Mangalore) - 1-2 Yrs

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sports Biomechanist with 1-2 years of experience and a Diploma in a relevant field to join our innovative startup team in Mangalore. This role will involve applying biomechanical principles to enhance the design and functionality of spaces, particularly focusing on ergonomic considerations for athletic facilities, performance centers, and rehabilitation spaces within architectural projects. You will collaborate closely with architects and designers to integrate biomechanical insights into our designs, ensuring optimal user experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct biomechanical analysis of existing and proposed designs, focusing on human movement, posture, and performance.
- Apply principles of kinesiology, physics, and anatomy to assess the ergonomic impact of architectural elements and interior layouts.
- Develop recommendations for design modifications to improve user comfort, safety, and efficiency in athletic and wellness spaces.
- Collaborate with the design team to integrate biomechanical considerations into concept development and detailed design phases.
- Utilize software and tools for motion analysis, force plate data interpretation, and 3D modeling to support design decisions.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for clients and project stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in sports biomechanics, ergonomics, and their application in built environments.
- Assist in the development of design guidelines and best practices for biomechanically sound spaces.
