Transition Manager - Ports & Shipping (1-2 Yrs Exp) - Bangalore

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transition Manager with 1-2 years of experience and an LLB degree to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This role is crucial for managing and overseeing the smooth transition of projects, processes, and operational changes within our Ports & Shipping business. The ideal candidate will leverage their legal understanding and project management skills to ensure all transitions comply with relevant regulations and company policies, minimizing risks and maximizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing transition strategies for new projects, operational changes, and system implementations within the Ports & Shipping domain.
- Coordinate with various internal departments (e.g., Operations, Legal, IT, Finance) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and handover.
- Review and interpret legal documentation, contracts, and regulatory requirements relevant to port operations and logistics.
- Identify potential legal and compliance risks during transition phases and propose mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including transition plans, status reports, and post-transition reviews.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge transfer between outgoing and incoming teams/processes.
- Monitor the progress of transitions against defined timelines and objectives, escalating any deviations or issues promptly.
- Ensure all transition activities adhere to company policies, industry best practices, and relevant Indian maritime and trade laws.
