Welding Inspector / Supervisor - Chandigarh

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Welding Inspector / Supervisor with 3-4 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will possess an M.Tech degree and a strong understanding of welding processes, codes, and inspection techniques. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of all welding operations, supervising welding teams, and maintaining compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) of welds to ensure compliance with applicable codes (e.g., ASME, AWS, API) and project specifications.

Interpret welding procedures, drawings, and specifications to guide welding activities.

Supervise and guide a team of welders and welding technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, test results, and welding documentation.

Identify and report any welding defects, deviations, or non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure proper material traceability and control of welding consumables.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical input on welding-related matters.

Stay updated with the latest welding technologies, inspection methods, and industry best practices.
