Accounts Payable Manager - 1-3 Yrs Experience

Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager with 1-3 years of experience to join our growing team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations. While the primary focus is on accounts payable, a strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and financial principles, as demonstrated by an M.Pharma degree, will be advantageous for managing specific vendor relationships and compliance within our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, verification, and data entry.
- Ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors in compliance with company policies and payment terms.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Maintain the accounts payable ledger and ensure its accuracy.
- Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to resolve invoice-related issues.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and tax laws, particularly those that may intersect with pharmaceutical raw material or component sourcing.
- Prepare regular reports on accounts payable aging, vendor payments, and other relevant metrics.
- Manage and mentor junior accounts payable staff (if applicable).
